Hey guys just checking you're still all checking the site out. (MORE POSTS PLEASE!!!) I was just wondering, and I'll ask in person on Saturday. Because there are more people Coaching on saturdays does that mean there will be more people accepted into the coaching course? I could definately make it a priority to be available if this is the case. I for one would think this a good idea. More coaches-> More trainees -> More budding opponents ;D apart from the obvious and possible lack of room i don't see a downside Eat plenty of Chocolate!

In the future, yes it could mean potentially more trainees, however the quantity of coaches is only one factor to consider. Others include: 1. A number of our coaches are relatively inexperienced and therfore there is a requirement for current coaches to observe them also; 2. There would still need to be some fudge factor in the event coaches could not make it for whatever reason 3. Quantity of equipment available eg arrows, bows, tabs, slings etc 4. Safety 5. What if they all join the club, will we have enough gear for them, as well as our current crop of archers, to use on club days?
Those are only some considerations, there are more. If all of them could be successfully negotiated then I'm sure increasing the size of the training course could be an option further down the line, but for now possibly not.
My opinion and not necessarily reflected by other coaches, members of the club or other members of the executive.

I would be very keen to coach, I have done training and coaching in other areas of sports and technology but I think I need to gain more experience in archery before I could even think about coaching but I am very very keen to get to that point!
