Thinking about a novelty shoot - The Mana Marathon
Basic concept one lovely Sunday - 8am start, 8 pm finish.
1 x 1hr break for lunch, 10 minute rest break every two hours. Shoot, who knows? Barbecue at the end of the shoot.
Any interest?

Wow, that's mega. Like a 1000 arrow challenge.
Will this be open to other clubs? I'd be keen.

Bring it on!
Would this be purely for the pain & suffering challenge & fun, or could such a monumental effort double up as a fundraiser (either for renovations or some other noble purpose)? Teams or just individuals?

The shoot would be open to anyone, no affiliations required - all ability levels catered for etc (more planning would need to go on in this respect).
I was looking at a 30 dollar entry fee - 10 dollars of which to cover club expenses for use of the butts etc and the remaining 20 dollars to go to a charity such as Breast Cancer Foundation.
If say we had 30 archers come along - $300 for club expenses $600 to Breast Cancer Foundation
We could also look at putting the word out to the general public to do a collection/individual sponsor drive etc.

Hell yeah! Don't think we need a full hour for lunch though. That's just being wussy. And 10 minutes? Way too much. ;D
