On Sunday, 20th September we will be testing the matchplay system for our upcoming Mana Shield tournament. Targets will be set at a distance of 30m to suit archers of all skill levels. Matchplay is fast-paced and lots of fun, so if you're not otherwise occupied, why not have a go? Start time: 10.00 am Cost: usual mound fees apply There's no need to register in advance (just show up on the day), but if you have any questions, please post on the forum or contact Micky: secretary.manaarchery@gmail.com

Just a reminder that we're all go for tomorrow. The weather forecast is looking good, and kick off is at a respectable 10.00 (which means you don't even have to sacrifice your Sunday sleep-in.) There will be a ranking round of 36 arrows @ 30m, followed by the matchplay... all very informal, and for testing purposes the more people on the line, the better. Hope to see everyone there!

It was heaps of fun - near perfect weather, everything ran smoothly, and we all got a taste of the non-elimination matchplay process... Thanks very much for setting that up, Dave. All we need now is some nice weather for the real thing!
